The Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institutet has today decided to award the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine jointly to David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian for their discoveries of receptors for temperature and touch.
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2022 will be announced on Monday October 3 at 11.30 am (at the earliest). The announcement will be open only for media representatives who have been accredited in advance. To participate in Nobel Forum you must have a valid press credential.
